Well folks.  Sorry for another long delay.  Jon decided to go off to London.  Lets catch up on the hiker's recent adventures. Monday April 16th  Sam's AT Mileage Tracker: Day 23 Mile Marker 136.7 to 150 to reach Stecoah Gap. Sometimes the trail is like this and you don't know where to take your next step.  And sometimes you have awkward stairs. Tree leafing.  And a Bleeding Heart found along the trail! Success.  Dry and relaxing at the NOC. Nantahala Mountain Lodge, with snow!  In the middle of April in North Carolina!! Us blog tech guru's apologize for the long delay in publishing pictures and text from the last week  of hiking.  We adopted two kitty cats, and they are a bit distracting.  They especially love walking over my laptop's keyboard whenever I want to type.
